And I have been saying that it sure is coincidental that all of a sudden Britney isn't a fit mother. She didn't turn into an unfit mother over night...he needs the money...

yeah, I think this is gonna be really interesting to see how this whole legal ordeal works out. If Britney gets really good legal representation and fights him and does what her lawyer tells her to do this could take a while to finally resolve itself. i really don't know what's gonna happen. time will tell I suppose. this is really pretty sad. I just think that Brit's mom has just deserted her. Her family is not behind her.
I think Kevin is motivated by money not concern for his kids.He lives off a woman. I just have very strong feelings about that. I suspect that he never loved her and was using her from the start. I just know that in Texas from what I have seen with women I have known - judges have to really believe that the child is in danger before giving primary custody to the dad.
Lots of wealthy people have nannies raise their kids. Oh and I read somewhere that Kevin has a nanny for the boys and his mom plans on moving in with him to help with the boys. She did sucha great job with Kevin-
If Brit were my kid I would stay close and support her evenif I didnt approve of the way she was living her life. I would stay and help her with the kids. But then again Brit's problems prob have something to do with how she was raised by Lynne. Stage mothers!
Back to the legal fight, how come Brit's attny isn't subpoenaing people and getting the dirt on Kevin? Certainly she could say that living with their father would expose them to drug dealers and dangers of that nature. How good a father can you be when you are stoned on pot most of the time?
altho I personally have not been involved in a custody dispute - I had a friend who was and it's very nasty the children suffer when mommy and daddy hate each other and are using the kids as weapons. It's a battle and the kids are caught in the middle and they are the casualties. okay I'll get off my soapbox now.

Her mother didn't desert her. As far as I can tell, the mother wants Twitney to get some help and Twitney's response was to slap down legal papers telling the mother to stay away from the kids.

Lately, Twitney's been nothing but a huge fucked up waste of space and if she doesn't want to give her children a sane, responsible, sober mother, than she shouldn't have custody. Period.

As for K-Fed, if he wants more money, so what? There are plenty of women in Hollywood who go after rich men for ridiculous amounts of child support every day and no one is saying any of them are bad mothers. From what we know so far, he has the boys on a sensible routine, has a nanny, and seems to be doing an okay job - to the point where the boys own grandmother is siding with him over her trainwreck daughter.

Frankly, I'd take the "bad" father over the drunken slut of a mother any day.

In my opinion.... if Titney raises them, they'll probably turn out wimpy whiners. If Kevin does, they'll probably turn out pompous playas. No win situation.

Oh, I take it that we're all aware that with the house in Malibu being sold, his share of the C$12m sale price will be on it's way to him? So, I'm not so sure how desperate for shekels he might be?

Oh, and I've seen bloke continue to be the biggest slags out there as far as the women are concerned, but be brilliant dads. It's a flip-switch in their mental wiring or something, but it seems to work...

I'm not sexiest on that issue

.....Man or Woman, if you have to rely on someone else to support you in life then, in my eyes, you are a piece of shit that has wasted your life. That being said, I don't think Britney is capable of keeping the kids and I don't know Kevin good enough to say if he is or not.
