Different strokes. I'm 35 now and the though hubby is 4 yrs younger than me he'd been on his own (financially...moved out of parents) since age 17, so he was/is exceptional. We were 28 (me) and 24 (him) when married and all told been together for almost ten yrs now. Mature men who aren't old and gray are out there. No way in hell would I put up with an overgrown baby who was even older than my ass!

Mrs. Dark: your story is spookily like mine. My hubby left home at age 16 and joined the Navy (very unhealthy family of origin). We met when he was 21 and I was 25 (I figured, hell, if you can't find a good man, might as well raise one). We've been together 10 yrs now, married for 6. Having been on his own for so long, his wild oats were sowed and so were mine and we're both happy. Congrats to you!!

Sources tell Us that Hudson's relationship with her You, Me & Dupree costar was the main catalyst for her split from rocker hubby Chris Robinson of the Black Crowes.

"This is not [just] a fling," a source close to the couple tells Us Weekly. "Kate is crazy about him. Owen gives her so much attention, and she loves it!"

The pair have spent many nights together at Wilson's Santa Monica pad and have even ventured out into public, going on a breakfast date to restaurant A Votre Sante on August 3rd.

"[Owen] is over the moon," says a source.

Wilson and Hudson kept things platonic while filming their recent romantic comedy together, but things heated up this June when the twosome began the promotional rounds for You, Me & Dupree, reports the mag.

A source tells Us that Kate and Owen "often shared hotel rooms" while promoting You, Me & Dupree around the world.

I had to sit through an hour and a half of these two the other night. They had no chemistry on screen and I don't find either of them particularly likeable. Still though, anything is better than Chris Robinson.

My friend works at a radio show & their Hollywood insider said the word around town is that Chris has moved on from pot & is now deeply into cocaine. Kate gave him an ultimatum & the rest is history. That's the word. It's drugs, not another man...or woman.

Thanks for the tidbit, PrettyGirl, and if this is the case, I say she's smart to get the hell out. As much as I'm all for keeping a family together, this certainly isn't the environment to be raising a child. And if Chris has been given ultimatums, it's quite apparent he's made up his mind and neither Kate or Ryder are his priority. For that reason, I'm glad to hear she's found someone who cares for them.
