I don't think he loves her. I think he said it just to get the hell outta there! I know I wouldn't want to answer questions of my ex's mental cry for help.

Diplomatic is the key word here. Proves that he's a lot more grown up, mentally, than she is, yet they have the same background (kiddie stars in The Mickey Mouse Club, teenage singer.....)

His saying something nice just means he's respectful. I think he's way past loving her anymore. I'll willing to bet he'd say something nice about Cameron Diaz too, if asked an opinion about her.

ITA. He doesn't still love her. He probably feels a huge sense of relief at the bullet he dodged by dumping her. Has anyone read anything about his video with ScarJo? It's supposedly a huge slam, yet again, on Britney. ScarJo, who is said to represent Brit, ends up dead in the end with Justin standing over her body. He was raised to have good manners, so I wouldn't expect him to kick her when she's down. As for him still having feelings for her, in my opinion, they're feelings of anger and betrayal, not love. Perhaps pity at this point.

Those are very good points. I wonder what the timing of the video will be? This is something that could send her over the edge in her current condition. His attorneys better think this through very, very carefully.

I figure he's embarrassed for her more than anything. Maybe a little for himself, too. Having your ex publically humiliate themselves and spiral into a puddle of crazy makes you and everybody else wonder what you ever saw in them.

I don't think that the video represents his and Britney's relationship AT ALL. I mean in Cry Me A River it was sooooo obvious, I think if he was going to make it about her then he would've made it equally obvious this time around. Personally, if he IS still making videos and songs about her I think that's the first indication that he isn't over her. The video was released on Wednesday, I posted it in the music forum if you're interested in seeing it.

So we're to believe he has moved on from her yet many think half of his songs are about her and now he has ScarHo portraying her in a new video? You can't have it both ways.
