Re: Juliette Lewis found peace and drug-free life through Scientology
I dont believe you guys didnt know Juliette Lewis is Scientologist since ages now. She is now promoting it but she has always been one, in fact while she was dating Brad she tried to convince him to join the Church and he took some seminars and courses but he didnt like it, well he doesnt like any religion, and they just broke up.

Why didn't Tom Cruise pick her to be his baby mama. The situation is perfect since she was already a Scientologist and semi famous

^^ Prolly cuz he has some control issue. He wanted to recruit and convert/force someone to becoming a Scientologist.

I've known it for a long time & you know, I think the Scientologist people had a big meeting & decided that now is the time to "come out."
They probably had it all planned to start with Thomas Mapother because he was the Greatest Stud Movie Star Of All Time, but we all know how well that went.

Lobes, you forgot the 4. He's Mapother the IV. (sorry I find it funny that ppl still carry on numbers like that in their name in this day and age...well, I can find pretty much anything about Tom Cruise funny).

Re: Juliette Lewis found peace and drug-free life through Scientology
Kathy Griffin talks about Scientology in one of her stand up shows as one of those "dealbreakers"...you meet someone, they're cool, you have things in common, then they mention they're a Scientologist, and it ruins any potential for a budding friendship.
Sort of like being a crackhead... =)

Re: Juliette Lewis found peace and drug-free life through Scientology
i think i've mentioned this somewhere here before, but my cousin is a scientologist. we've never been close and one day out of the blue he starts writing to me like we're pen pals, which was cool at first. but then he starts talking about how he's an 'advisor' or something which is basically just someone that you spill your beans to and it's supposed to make you feel better. they're not a counselor per se, but you talk to them about your problems. i was like 'whoa!' weird... it was so obvious and forced that he was reaching out to recruit me. even through letters it made my skin crawl! honestly, how can ANYONE claim this is a legitimate religion? or for that matter, that christianity is legit... jesus walking on water? moses parting whole oceans..? c'mon.....

I suddenly find Kathy Griffin to be rather less annoying!
