Johnny needs to suffer like I am and do more than a crash course. I'd give anything to live with someone who speaks french fluently. I wouldn't let them speak a word of English to me. I have no one to talk to. My friends who say they speak French just seem to fake it.

I am self teaching right now, immersing in French films and learning my curses . I have a private tutor lined up in the fall.

I think watching films really help when you are learning another language. I actually liked to sing in English when I first started learning it as well

I don't think it's that weird that he doesn't speak good French. Some people just don't have talent for languages. He's a star, I bet people were accomodating with him and they were willing to speak English to him.
