Jessica's image has always been nothing more than sex and stupidity - and she only has herself and her Pop to blame. She made lots and lots of money from it and as a result of that greed, people have played right into what she was selling them. Good luck in trying to convince us otherwise.
Im not defending her, bc half the f*cked up things she did on that show she probably doesnt even realize (like when she is on vacation with her fam and takes a pickle slice out of the jar and takes a bit and puts it BACK in the jar-ewwww-talk about bacteria growth...or on the same vacation where her mom is making beans in the oven..someone ELSE'S oven mind you...drops them IN the oven then scoops them BACK into the pan...)
But I will say that I myself and done the "play ditz" routine and it can be very convincing, mostly bc people WANT to believe some chicks are dumb. The reason I believe that she did embellish the ditzy routine is bc in interviews and in situations where she has to improvise she does pretty well.
