I don't get what the big deal is about her. There are a ton of girls just like her, with mediocre looks and great voices, who would happily trade places with her. And they would probably do so without bitching about the show that gave them their start or trying to insinuate that it's beneath them.

Tell them Jennifer ... Those Assholes. I was sooooo mad when she got voted off, I guess more mad at "America," but now she's showing them. You Go Girl!!!! P.S. I would not call her voice merely "great". At least give credit where credit is due, the girl has an A-M-A-Z-I-N-G voice, very rare in our age. Can't wait for her album, hope she packs it with some soul ...

Speaking as someone who never missed an episode of Idol during her season, her "amazing" voice didn't seem so "amazing." And apparently, millions of other people agree with me.

Even though she is talented I still didn't like her when she was on A.I.

I only remember Fantasia. Beautiful name, beautiful voice. Cant recall anybody else on that show. Were there other people on that show?

She definitely didn't have much control of her voice on the show-she was belting it out, but that was it-no emotionnal resonance, no stage presence. Fantasia had much better showmanship.
