AH! Oh. I was like, wubba hoobie?
If you do something wrong, then you shouldn't be able to fall back on your race or creed or color. I don't walk around going, Well, I'm white, that's just how I do.
Ha ha, the funny part about my roommate is that she assumed I only had white friends (if any at all)....so when I moved, my closest friends came and she saw there was only one white guy and he's gay. And then she got scared and hid in her room.

She pushed me into a corner, screaming and spitting on me.
And then she said, "That's just how I am."
A caveat: I've known plenty of Latina women who were very lovely, and wouldn't pull crap like that. But she used her race to give herself carte blanche to act like psycho bitchbag and then when I did something that crossed her, she'd play the minority card again.
The stupid part is: She has more money, security, family, etc. than I do, but assumes because I'm white, I was born with a silver spoon in my mouth. She also feels she can act however she pleases because of her race.
And when I hear Isaiah pulling this shit, I want to say: Shut up. You were fired not because you're black, but because you were wrong.

Unfortunately you have people of all colors who will pull the 'race card' to varying degrees, whether it be black, white, Hispanic, etc. And no matter who is doing it it's still aggravating, because it distracts from the real issues and casts doubt on people who are really suffering discrimination.
And what makes this whole situation annoying as hell is that Isaiah keeps forgetting that he's the one that started this whole mess by using a slur against somebody, but now he's screaming discrimination after it leads to him losing his job. He's an idiot.

He is almost done. He has dug to five feet.
If he wants a chance at salvaging his career, he will shut up. He would have faired so much better if he had been quiet and let the viewing public come to the conclusion that ABC played unfairly. He could have ridden the pity wave.

"I said a lot of negative things that were never reported, but there was one word that caught everyone’s attention, particularly someone who wasn’t even in the room with us. It was a fight between two men that shouldn’t have happened. But someone heard the booming voice of a black man and got really scared and that was the beginning of the end for me. I see that now, but I didn’t then."
SHUT UP ISAIAH, FUCK! IT'S NOT HARD!
"If a black man can’t get forgiveness in this country, when so many other people like Robert Downey Jr. and the governor of California get second and third chances … I think that says a lot about race and this country where we stand."
BITCH SHUT THE FUCK UP. PUT YOUR LIPS TOGETHER AND SHUT IT!!!!!
My mother had several cross-dressing friends who she sometimes referred to with names I’d never use, but she didn’t know any better. There was no hate, just lack of awareness."
NO THERE'S LACK OF SILENCE ON YOUR PART NOW SHUT IT!
"That’s what’s hurt me so much with all this. I was doing what I’m doing in Africa for years—before Angelina and Bono. But I’ve worked at homeless shelters for years and given money to make sure people knew they didn’t have to be hungry or the street. I have shared my blessings, but all that changed when this happened and it’s truly heartbreaking for me.’’
LALALALALALAL, I'M NOT LISTENING!
MUSH-MOUTH NEGRO? LISTEN TO YOURSELF!
I can't take it anymore. I'm going to go cut off my ears now. Click here to read the entire article, but please don't. Unless you like the taste of bullshit

I think his TV career just went the entire 6 feet - this from Defamer:
"Washington now says that his "homophobia reprogramming" wasn't exactly what it seemed. "There is no rehab for homophobia--that was just some crap being put out by the network," he says. " I went into an executive counseling program which many people in this industry know about and go to. They knew what the program was but chose to call it what they wanted to fit their agenda. [...]Washington's latest revelation is indeed a stunner--that gayhab was just a hoax all along, perpetrated by the network on an unsuspecting public fooled into thinking active steps were being taken towards rehabilitation..."
You'd think he'd have people advising him to shut the hell up. What network is going to want to hire him now?

Well, I think the joke was on him and the network.
They didn't "fool" people that have any common sense.....we all know there is no such thing as a homophobia rehab.

WTF? Is he 200 years old or something?
I've known many black people throughout my life and not once have I heard any "plantation" talk.
Sounds like someone wants to use any excuse in the world to avoid responsibility for his own actions.

I wonder what Morgan Freeman thinks of this.
I don't know why I thought of that, but I did.

I refer to my job as the plantation too, but that's just to piss my bosses off. The funny part is that I've got some of my white co-workers calling it the plantation now. God, why am I so evil?

I'm sure he is endearing himself to the black community by calling them a bunch of Uncle Toms.
