But the most plausible answer appears to be lifts — which, when built inside the heel of a standard dress shoe, can easily add inches.

Kate still looked taller than Tom to me.
He may be wearing lifts but they don't make lifts that are
worn inside your shoe with a 3 or 4 inch height. Your foot wouldn't
fit inside the shoe.
Maybe it was a combination of lifts and platform shoes.

Eh. Since 5'10.5" is supposed to be the average, I'd say 5'7" was on the short side.

But there are plenty of petite celeb women out there too if Tommy boy wanted a shorter beard.

I notice Katie is wearing the ugly flats like Nicole used to. I'd take all those designer heels off her hands (or feet, rather) since she's not gonna have any use for them now that she's with Napoleon. But my size 6.5 puppies are probably nowhere near her sasquatch-sized dogs.
