Listen it was over when Shark Tooth did not even thank her husband when she won her first oscar.
End of story.
Good grief; my opinion of her just PLUMMETED. Dating a MARRIED MAN WITH KIDS??!!?? She is going DOWN in the publics' court of opinion, i'm sure. First, the way she tattled on her poor husband in Vanity Fair about his substance abuse problem, AFTER the poor guy had dealt with the problem. Now i'm thinking, Hilary may have (VERY mis-guidedly) thought that that interview would garner her the public's SYMPATHY--a calculated public-relations move to get the public's sympathy BEFORE the news broke that she's dating a married man. If that was the plan, it sure didn't work! What a low-class bee-yotch.

I'm not arguing that fact at all. I'm just saying, as women, we're much more inclined to call a gorgeous, worldly woman a homewrecking whore while we tend to defend the average woman.
About JR, I don't remember the specifics but Danny M, slime that he is, left his wife and started shacking up with horseface (from here forward referred to as HF). Right after he left his wife, HF was seen in public with a hand-written t shirt that said some to the effect of F U Vera (not the exact phrasing mind you). She wore it under a blazer so it was harder to make out. The press did a small piece on it and then dropped the issue because HF was considered the Hwood sweatheart.
But that was back in like '99 or 2000....They didn't split till 2006! If you are correct & it was "over" 6 years ago, then why did "Shark Tooth" stay with Chad all that time? It's not like she stayed with him out of thinking he'd help her career, since she was/is the WAY MORE successful one in that marriage. Anyway, i honestly think people can JUST MAKE MISTAKES (i.e. forgetting to thank one's husband--hell, with my ADD & poor memory, i'd probably forget to thank MY husband!) especially in the heat of the moment when you've just won an Oscar & are speaking in front of millions of people.
I think you are WRONG for once Warren!![]()

There something to forgetting your SO in an acceptance speech. First H Skank, then Jennifer A, so of course Julia Louis-D will be next, right?Actually I hope not, I love her!
Julia Louis-d's 'forgetting' to thank her husband was actually a joke that he was in on. And yes, I love her, too. I've been making my way through Seinfeld lately and she is just brilliant. There something to forgetting your SO in an acceptance speech. Can't believe I missed this debacle.
I can't stand Hilary Swank, but it has more to do with her acting and the fact that she spread Chad's addiction business all over Vanity Fair.
As for the "homewrecker" business, that blame belongs more with Campisi than Swank. HE had a wife. HE had children. HE had a responsibility to them. Hilary Swank had no obligation to them, but I think sometimes it's easier to blame the other woman and treat the man like some creature helpless to resist.
good point, Laurent. I always wonder why the third party gets blamed. It's the person in the relationship who has the responsibility to be faithful. Granted, it's not a good idea to go around screwing married people but in the end, the married person should be keeping it zipped.

^^
or the blame should lie equally on both parties
i wonder if she'll be serious with this guy..
The word homewrecker makes me laugh and cringe at the same time. It's always used for the woman who "steals" or comes between a man and the woman he has a committment to. Steal is another word I see written here a lot. You can't steal a person! The wayward party does what they want to do.
Ok, here we go: this guy that is seeing Hillary Swank is responsible for wrecking his OWN fucking home. Girls, just cause they have dicks does NOT excuse them from making decisions nor does it excuse them from living up to the responsibility they accepted when marrying nor the committment!
Sandra Bullock did not make Jesse leave his porn star wife.
Julia Roberts/HF is a bitch for the shirt, but again, not responsible for that dipshit she married leaving his wife.

I was JUST about to add my two cents about Julia L-D at the Emmy's being reminded to thank her husband.
Folks, it happens. Get over it. It doesn't mean there's something "wrong" with a marriage if the spouse forgets to thank the other spouse during an acceptance speech. Gawd.![]()

Hilary Swank in Vanity Fair: Jabbin' Chad
Hilary Swank is one of few actresses who has managed to maintain a stellar public reputation. She's squeaky clean, has two Oscars under her belt, and hasn't engaged in any heated public feuds, which is more than can be said for her starlet counterparts. Throughout her very public divorce proceedings with Chad Lowe, Swank has remained tight-lipped, only recently spilling details to extractor of celeb secrets, Vanity Fair. In the interview, Swank reveals vague details about Lowe's substance abuse problems, which she says may have contributed to the marriage's dissolution. Though her comments are mostly neutral and, we're sure, not malicious in intent, certain things just don't translate well into print. For example, on her career success versus Chad's: "Chad is very supportive of my career. He is, I think, genuinely happy for my success...I think that any frustration for him stemmed from the lack of opportunities in his own career." Nice, for the most part, but "lack of opportunities in his own career"? Kinda stings, no? Suddenly sugar-coated Swank appears to be throwing one-two punches at her soon-to-be ex, even if they are unintentional. We truly hope Chad isn't shedding any tears at comments whose meaning can very easily be misunderstood.

And now I'm gonna go see if I can find that Vanity Fair interview and read it and decide for myself if Hilary's a shameless Hollywood ladder-climber or not. I'll bet she's not.
But, if she did reveal her own personal secrets to win a spot on the cover, I'm not surprised. Showbiz is a game, and if you wanna be in it to win it, you gotta play The Game, baby! Hell, blame Vanity Fair, not Hilary Swank,if you have a problem with her giving in to the poking and prodding for intimate details.![]()
