I predict the statement will be something along the lines of:

Mr. Coleman and Ms. Pannettiere were filming on the set of their TV show "Heroes" and have behaved in a strictly professional manner. We understand that photographs may sometimes be misinterpreted, as is clearly the case here. Mr. Coleman is a devoted husband who has been faithfully married for X years and is firmly committed to his wife and family. He wanted to take the opportunity to clarify any misinterpretations from photographs that might suggest otherwise.

Hmm. I wonder if the rep will be scrambling to write something else that won't sound exactly like this now that he sees the kind of cynicism he's dealing with. Maybe they are merely filming, but I can't imagine what kind of scene would call for what appears to be a mouth-on-mouth kiss between an on-screen father and daughter.

Last week we had posted pictures of Hayden Panettiere on the set of Heroes. The pics seemed like Hayden was kissing her on screen dad Jack Coleman. Hollyscoop has received an official statement from Mr. Jack Coleman himself, explaining the photos. Please read below!

From Jack Coleman:

Let me squash immediately whatever misguided notions anyone may have gotten from a picture taken a couple of days ago of Hayden and me on the set. There were two papparazzi hanging around all day across the street taking pictures of Hayden's every move. In the scene we were shooting Claire (Hayden) kisses her father (me) on the cheek. The angle at which the photo was taken created in a very misleading image. In one picture I am in short sleeves, that was a rehearsal, in the other I'm in a jacket, that was during a take.

That's it. Please go no further with this nonsense.

.....I liked my statement better, it was more indignant, less angry/defensive. Also, he didn't explain the crotch-to-chest body hug and the Stare Of Undying Love she was giving him in those five other photos.

Seriously, he needs to tell her to knock it off, it was mostly her behavior that was inappropriate. He mainly just seemed either passive and uncomfortable.

Yes, we understand that the paps took the picture, but, coming from a still young woman who is knowledgeable in the art of flirting and the sins of the flesh, that look is as innocent as the one I give my boyfriend before I...well, TMI.

You know what I mean.

Maybe he doesn't want her and is not involved with her in any other way than professionally, but that is the look of a woman whose inner predator has just smelled male pheromones. Prey much?
