I don't know, because I think it was the jury made up of fellow blacks that got him off. So in that instance race did have a lot to do with it imo. If it had been a more predominantly white jury, I think he would have been convicted. But yeah, the common denominator is celebrity.

Now she's officially 45 mins late per Fox news(tv)!  Fox news was also saying that as posted before, she wouldn't stop crying, she was cold, she hated the food. She was given a medical button, only *Priviledged* people get in jail and she kept continuously pressing it for the above reasons! 
The newscasters were going, "Ohhh, Awww" sarcastically. 3/4 of people in jail do cry out of fear, regret ect. Cripes sake, there are people in jail with terminal cancer and REAL serious illnesses and can't get out for "medical reasons"!!!!
I hope and pray the Judge throws her stinking ass in jail and makes her finish her sentence and then some. IMHO, she thinks she's above the law and so far, HAS BEEN!!!!!
What a slap in the face of justice if she gets home confinement. Ohhh, just heard on the news too, she couldn't wax and couldn't use moisturizer, her skin is so dry. WAAAAAH! Suck it up!
I hope the Sheriff also gets in deep trouble too!
Just my thoughts!

we're watching fox, cnn and msnbc waiting for Paris to go to court. the cop car has shown up to pick her up, its a circus. normally i dont care about this, but its so clownish, and hysterical i cant resist. THEN ALL of the stations break in to announce the Joint Chief of staff's retirement, and we're all screaming OMG WHO CARES PARIS IS GOING TO COURT. LOL
