But when you think about it, wouldn't you rather Michael Jackson or OJ was in jail than Paris bloody Hilton? One is a child abuser, the other a murderer and yet they're walking the streets. Paris' crimes pale in comparison (and before anyone says she 'could have killed someone', sure, she 'could have' but didn't.)

True - but look at how OJ and MJ have been completely shunned. I think Paris will receive the same treatment. People have finally woken up to the fact she's a total waste of space with a massive ego and and even greater sense of entitlement.

But, but, but, but....she isn't a child molester, she isn't a murderer...she drove after some drinks and then compounded her error by driving on a suspended license. No comparison in my mind. I am not a fan of this woman, by the way, but the whole 'dirty whore, die bitch' thing kind of freaks me out. I reserve that sort of attitude to those who have done something more than offend my intelligence.

I have to agree with buttmunch, she's mainly guilty of being a vapid waste of space, majorities hatefests are always a bit disturbing when they're not obviously justified

No, driving drunk is not cool but when I was in uni I did do it, stupidly I know, but still, we all make mistakes. I think sure, she shoudl go to jail, if she can get out of it, good for her and really, who gives that much of a shit about this pathetic woman? I just don't like the whole 'whore, bitch, die' stuff. It freaks me out.

IMO, the hatred has less to do with her per se, and more to do with what she represents. She's famous for nothing, has never had to work a day in her life, has had everything handed to her and seems to come out unscathed in every thing she does. She doesn't really serve any purpose except for entertainment, she has money and can do what she wants when she wants. A lot of "celebrities" are that way, but she's so far removed from being a real celebrity for any good reason, she's become a caricature who just embodies all the things we "normal" people despise. She proves that life is not fair.
I think it has something to do with why is she so special? What is so great about her? Why isn't that us? Or people we know? Why can't we get the breaks she does? What use is it for her to have money and fame when she does absolutely nothing with it? Y'know? I think that's frequently at the bottom of loathing someone (psych 101?). Add to that a good dose of possibly seeing traits in her that we have ourselves and don't like, or her getting to act in a way in which we don't get to act or won't allow ourselves to act. I think it's multi-layered.
Of course, it's such a two-headed monster that we feed every day when we eat everything up pertaining to her, spend our time writing about her or thinking about her or commenting on her. We create this cycle and monster and then keep it running, and in the process, keep her and what she represents, going. It's so cyclical. Just my opinion though.

Yes but who's the actress that got of of jail on day1 after a few DUI incidents...there were no reactions at the time - I like to dislike Hilton as much as anyone but as I said above it's the mass effect with the over the top virulence that are becoming too much

Are you talking about Michelle Rodriquez? Baca was the one who let her out early in too. She only served about 5 hours.

Well, they have to start somewhere and it might as well be with Paris. I would love nothing more than to have a murderer and a pedo in jail, but a crime is a crime. If she got jail time, she should have to serve it. So should any other actor, actress or dumb, rich twit that's famous for nothing.

I love ya Butt, but yes, she really does. Sometimes a person like her in this predicament represents the justice that a lot of people deserve but never get. She wanted to be high profile and now she is, for better or worse. And her behavior is overwhelmingly on the worse side, so she reaps what she sows.
So this is for her, being the despicable person she is, and a message for all the other despicable celebs who think they can get away with everything and no one will care. It's a worthwhile message and she's the best person to deliver it.

Paris is still young. The DUI upset me because it not only put her life in danger, but other lives in danger, because she could have hit them. The driving on a suspended license and getting busted TWICE for it, bothers me. It shows a reckless disregard, for law enforcement and I think she feels that she has some sort of entitlement that others don't deserve because of who she is. All of these Celebuturds have it nowadays.
I'm not wishing any harm on the girl ( granted she's 26, so not really a girl), but her little buddy Joe Francis, is wanting to stay in Jail because he's decided he doesn't want to go to whatever state that's trying to extradite him because he doesn't want any new butt buddies. Guy get's famous exploiting young drunk women and now he's finally paying his bill.
