    Love it.
HA! I loved that too. I think Joy is hysterical; and Elisabeth, well she's not the sharpest knife in the drawer.

Oh puhleeese. Like we all want to hear leftist thinking on every channel. I'm glad she is on there - it makes it more interesting, and not so liberal minded. Too bad they can't get another repub and make it more balanced.

Elizabeth has values. Those types of people aren't very popular today in a world of no morals. If you don't accept gays as "natural", still believe in marriage, and are opposed to abortion society thinks you're the weirdo. The moral decline is devastating. Joy is definitely at the front of this decline. She's a good spokesperson for the morally crude and spiritually empty people out there.

Everyone has values, just not the same ones. However, some people are hypocrites because they spout one thing (support for a war based on lies) but do another (wouldnt dream of actually fighting in it).

Those types of people aren't very popular today in a world of no morals.
That's crap, the world has tons of morals... just not the ones you particularely agree with. Just because people don't subscribe to YOUR set of morals doesn't mean they don't have a set of their own. How arrogant.

If you don't accept gays as "natural",
.. then you're an idiot, because homosexuality is prevalent in all strata of mammalian (and even avian) animal kingdoms. Since animals operate almost totally on instinct, how could they NOT be obeying their natural urges?

    still believe in marriage
Who doesn't believe in marriage? The concept still exists, doesn't it? Even gays (gasp) who want to get married do so because they believe in the institution and the protections it affords. Silly argument.

and are opposed to abortion society thinks you're the weirdo.
Uh no, you can be opposed to abortion all you want, and you can make that opposition a reality by not having one... just don't try to force that on anybody else and you'll be fine. Trying to make people do what YOU want because YOU don't agree with what THEY do is arrogant.

    The moral decline is devastating.
You know what's worse? Righteous morality based on ignorance and stupidity. Give me cold hard fact over 'ideology' and lies anyday, thanks.

Joy is definitely at the front of this decline.
And what is Elizabeth? A spokespuppet for an entire generation of hypocrites, liars and frauds. Her values are a tissue thin veil wrapped around a core of cowardice and lack of sacrifice for the ideals she supposedly holds dear.

She's a good spokesperson for the morally crude and spiritually empty people out there.
Morally crude? LOL is that even a concept? Spiritually empty, I suppose, equals "people who don't believe exactly what I believe". Narrowminded, elitist nonsense.

Oh Grimm ... You know for a minute there I had almost been led to believe you didn't dissect posts anymore - what a relief seeing your quoting skills being put to good use!

Nice post Grimmlok. Thanks for saving me 15 minutes, even though I'm sure that wasn't your intent.

^^Agreed! She probably wrote that one post, got righteously bitchslapped, and then disappeared.

But I mean, you can, like, choose to be gay and stuff and do on purpose to make God all angry and shit. That's what them mammals is doing, right? Flipping a finger to ark that saved them?

I am a call screener at Idaho Public Television, we have a local once a week call in show. We delve into all sorts of topics, one dealing with gay marriage, brought in many different types of callers with mostly legal questions.
(Idaho gets a bad rep for being a white sempremist state. Nothing is farther from the truth.) I had 1 guy calling in, saying only humans choose to be homosexual. As a screener I need to remain neutral, but I didn't, I told him that it has been shown in nature that there is homosexuality. I told him about avian studies. He wanted to argue w/ me about it, then I told him I would not let his call go on the air. He really pissed me off. The stupidity exists. Or ignorance, I don't know.
    I don't understand ppl.

Good Lord, sprynkles, what a cool job. I'm with you, though. And I don't think I could do that job. Sometimes I know I would have too big a mouth toward people like that.

You're right ... the moral decline is devastating. And we have your kind to thank for it. Maybe you should look in a mirror before you start spouting your ridiculous self-righteous garbage. All you are doing is promoting hate. Does that make you feel good about yourself?

For a person with a high IQ George sure has problems saying words like nuclear, remembering the names of leaders from other countries and says stupid things like:

"I know how hard it is for you to put food on your family." —Greater Nashua, N.H., Jan. 27, 2000

"I know the human being and fish can coexist peacefully." —Saginaw, Mich., Sept. 29, 2000

"Too many good docs are getting out of the business. Too many OB-GYNs aren't able to practice their love with women all across this country." —Poplar Bluff, Mo., Sept. 6, 2004

"They misunderestimated me." —Bentonville, Ark., Nov. 6, 2000

"Rarely is the questioned asked: Is our children learning?" —Florence, S.C., Jan. 11, 2000

"Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we." —Washington, D.C., Aug. 5, 2004

"There's an old saying in Tennessee — I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee — that says, fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me — you can't get fooled again." —Nashville, Tenn., Sept. 17, 2002

"You know, one of the hardest parts of my job is to connect Iraq to the war on terror." --George W. Bush, interview with CBS News' Katie Couric, Sept. 6, 2006

"I think -- tide turning -- see, as I remember -- I was raised in the desert, but tides kind of -- it's easy to see a tide turn -- did I say those words?" --George W. Bush, asked if the tide was turning in Iraq, Washington, D.C., June 14, 2006

"I would say the best moment of all was when I caught a 7.5 pound largemouth bass in my lake." --George W. Bush, on his best moment in office, interview with the German newspaper Bild am Sonntag, May 7, 2006

"I was not pleased that Hamas has refused to announce its desire to destroy Israel." --George W. Bush, Washington, D.C., May 4, 2006

^Bushisms. Somehow they never get old. These have to be two of my favorites.
Mariesoleil, thanks for posting those! They made me smile.

You know, What Kerry said was pretty stupid. I'm not Republican or Democrat, really. (I hate politics, because it makes people venemous) I don't know, I just hate seeing one person get jumped all over for the stupid things she said and then having the stupid comment that spurred the whole thing completely ignored because he is a democrat.

And just so you know, I know that the comment was "a joke that Kerry screwed up", but it turned out quite offensive. Just a question, because I honestly don't know the answer, did ever explicitly apologize for making the comment? All I remember hearing was the excuse, and I can't remember if he apologized or not.
