I don't know who these people are who did not realize even before she had her own show that she was gay, but I totally knew. I don't think she was trying to deceive anyone.

It is called The View which does mean 'differing' views.........I find it interesting how many people can't stand the hosts of the show or don't watch it and then comment on it? Just my opinion. I do Tivo it and watch it a lot, but like I said earlier, it's a true DUD with Rosie on there, and everyone 'on eggshells'. Hopefully when they pick their 5th host it will get better, but I'm about done for now.

I did find it humerous yesterday that they so conveninetly brought up the topic of "gossip" and how things are always written that aren't true, etc... just made me think of this article.

and its not about ppl who are "different" its about the antisocials who dont relate well to others (rosie), who are difficult to interract with (rosie), and who are combative by nature (rosie), and who usually dont have any friends as a result of their maladaptive personalities

You know, the one where people only like you if you think, act, walk and talk (and fuck the 'proper' gender) like the majority. High time I say. Everyone plays the "social grace" game everyday...u have a bad day and u want to scream, you hold back til you get out of the grocery store...u get into an argument with a friend or loved one, but u put on a smile at work...u dont agree with your professor''s politics, but you phrase your sentences a little more carefully to get thru the class so hell write you a letter of recommendation later...you avoid sensitive topics in front of certain people so u dont offend...just bc shes a lesbian, does not give her carte blanche to act out under the guise of exercising her rights. Plus, shes the one who blogs about having to get used to not being her own boss anymore. So this is a person who HAS been indulged more than most in doing things her own way, and now that she has to get alone with others for the purpose of her job, she can not handle it--hence my feeling she is maladaptive

its called having social graces, and it is a game that we all play. I dont care about who she bangs out when she goes home at night, or what she wears, or how she walks, but acting as off the deep end as she has been will ulitmately alienate her audience...just as she managed to do when she tried to debate gun control on the "late" rosie show. This isnt her private living room, this is a network show and theres a fine line between speaking your mind and being offensive and combative

I think Rosie's 'way' has less to do with her being a lesbian and more to do with her being rich, famous, a celebrity, and spoiled by those things. Same thing with many famous wealthy people. Also she is a comedienne and comics are know to not hold back in many ways.
