ITA. As someone who has had women go after her boyfriends quite aggressively, I know how conniving other girls can be when they want your bf. I think women are probably afraid Angelina will pursue their husbands/boyfriends or even men they like because Angelina seems to thrive on the conquest. I think she has some deep seated issues with men. I also think she is extremely narcissistic (hence her messiah complex) and maybe has borderline personality disorder.

i think that nowdays it is really difficult to find good gilrfriends.
i cant understant it, but most of the women ive known in my whole life are very insecure and jealous. i get along better with men.
i only have 3 close girlfriends, but al least i know i can really trust in them.

If she really is friends with the PA I think it's kind of cool. At the very least, it looks like she's friendly with the woman and appears to consider her an equal. I think more commonly PA's of famous folk are little more than gofers dealing with outrageous demands while being looked down upon. It's silly to think one's shit doesn't stink and a person who is a paid employee is beneath you because one has achieved a bit of fame, especially from something as superficial as being in the movies. but unfortunately, this is how a lot of actors/actresses behave.

I see what you guys are saying, I also have a million issues with jealous females, but I still have a few that I keep close, about 3. During times like these, with what Angie is going through, I would love to have my friends speak up for me, the same females I have close, I know for sure my male friends would jump at my defense to support or defend me as soon as anyone tries to talk smack. I'd like to have some females that I hang out with and that I can say to magazines...."I have great friends who keep me grounded and help go through things like this blah blah blah.....", I just have never heard any of the sort from any of miss Jolie's "friends" and I have never heard her talk of having friends. It just doesn't seem right, to me it tells of some other problems. I don't care if her "friends" are male or female, she doesn't come across like she has people who can stand up for her, aside from her mom and paid assistant.

As for the picture with Clinton and Rice, that was all part of her job, those women won't stand up for Jolie. I bet if you asked them how they felt about her after this whole raucus, they wouldn't have any glowing comments to make aside from the fact that Ms. Jolie attends charity events.

You know, if I were Angelina I wouldn't have wanted my friends to publicly jump to my defense. I'd want them to quietly laugh it off with me, in private. They'd know the real story, after all, unlike the media and the rest of us...

Has nobody considered the possibility that not only may Angelina not want to flaunt those parts of her private life in public, she may also have friends who simply don't want publicity? Perhaps they simply spend time together in the privacy of their homes, instead of showing their friendship off.

Saw this post on a different board and I just have to share. This is the difference between Jenny Mcarthney 's charity works and Ms. jolie's . this poster couldn't have said it any better because I have seen this woman interviewed and she doesn't know jack shit.

That's because Paul's wife doesn't throw it in our face and the media like the whore Mangelina does. I saw an article, in the Times I believe, that said 'Who Cares What Angelina Jolie Thinks' and another article goes on to rip her apart that she doesn't know jack shit about AIDS or any other cause she is supposed to represent. The bitch spent the whole time during the UN award ceremony hanging out with her PR person and couldn't answer any questions about the cause. She is a fraud and a phoney as anyone could see in her CNN interview. She had to have some chump sitting next to her to answer the important questions while she just sat there and giggled like some transvestite looking freak.

I agree completely, intersting comment about the Messiah Complex, I would say she has it. Don't get me wrong I am fascinated by Ms Jolie, always have been since I first saw her in Foxfire and then Gia, I was amazed by her. But I do think she most likely has some personanlity issues. But hey she has to have some problems.

Ronke - The whole "how knowledgable is Angelina?" topic has been addressed here in t e past. I'll say what I always say: it doesn't matter. Even the guy that brought her into the UNHCR said that she was mainly to get publicity and attention and funding for the cause. And he said it works. I don't see the problem with that. No one is pretending that she's an expert on AIDS.

same here. and yeah, i think she is pretty private.

i don't know why some people want to control her friends' behaviour.

i don't see her complaining she doesn't have friends, so why should this be a problem if she doesn't think it is? isn't it HER life?
