yea, someone should tell her this ship has sailed... at least if she's going to continue 'making music' (i use that term lightly), she should go with what's appropriate to her age and, ahem, physical stature, and nix the overtly 'sexy' thing (again, i use that term lightly).

I think she lost her mind, I remember her butt used to be solid rock, I mean at least if your out of shape, wear a catsuit or something.. This outfit does not do anything for her and she looks awful with dark hair.

I think shes on cocaine/prescription downers.

Honestly, I don't think she even realizes just how far she has fallen and how sick she is. She has people telling her exactly what she wants to hear day and night. And she wants a comeback, or to be on the top of the charts again, but she simply is incapable of doing the work that it entails. Whether its from drugs or mental illness or a combination of both, she cannot at present state do anything positive for her career except disappear and get the help she needs. We are a forgiving people when it comes to stars, and if she were to come back in a few years with a great album all would be forgotten. But I don't think its going to happen, because she built herself on being a little slutty lolita and she can't accept the fact that trying to act like one at her age is pathetic.

This is true. However, I could pose the argument that talent is not always necessary. Case in point: Madonna. OK dancer, not a great singer. But Madonna isn't afraid of hard work and does what it takes to maintain a successful 25+ year career (I recognize most of you despise Madonna, but many people out there love her as well, or else she still wouldnt be selling out world tours).

My point is that talent alone isn't enough to make it in the entertainment industry. It takes a lot of hard work, a lot of sacrifices, being able to resist the many bad temptations (drugs, all night partying, etc.) that the industry has always been known for, and knowing when to disappear for a while at just the right time.

Actually, lots of genuinely talented people don't "make" it....and not because they don't work hard. There's a lot of nastiness, nepotism and backstabbing. (I'm a singer/songwriter, and it's....even in the indie world, it's insane)...

But Britney doesn't have the magnetism or ...je ne sais quois that Madonna has. Not only is Britney lazy and not talented, she's just dumb and uninteresting.
