Whoever wrote this article is a total loser. She marries a Beatle, or for that matter anyone who was successful at their craft and then you put them down for it?

As said above, I don't care where she came from or what she's done, it's her personality. I'm glad Paul is getting out. It's a healthy person that recognizes when it's just not working and does something about it.

You don't have to feel sorry for Heather to agree with the author's points. I don't, and yet I agree with the points presented. Except, I do see what's so special about the Beatles.

A loser couldn't compile such a cogent argument as the one presented. Sorry. Besides, Heather's entitled to her opinion of the man's early work just as much as the rest of the world.

Judged on all I've read about Heather (admittedly most of it unflattering), it's likely she's not impressed by the Beatles because she's jealous of the attention of all the attention Paul McCartney receives. I also wouldn't be surprised if she used that "Don't know much about the Beatles" line to hook in Paul when they were courting, to make him think she could see beyond all the hoopla.

I agree, Ediebrooks. I think she played the whole 'Don't know much about the Beatles' angle to show Sir Paul that she wasn't that impressed... Sadly, it worked...

I think there's a BIG difference between taking some photos in your youth, and being a paid escort/prostitute... That's not youthful indiscretion, that's someone who is willing to do anything for money...

It's not like she was a single mother of five and had to put food on the table... She liked the fast lane, the high life, and she sold her soul to get it... So what makes anyone think because she did it before, that she wouldn't do it again for $$$

Judging from those not-at-all-hard-core photos, I'll have to disagree with the above statement. If she were "willing to do anything for money" those pix would have been far, far raunchier.

I was a younger woman who married an older man, he was neither rich nor famous, but he was sexy, kind, funny, protective, exciting, educated, gentle, and loving...we had 20 happy years together (in MY mind), then we broke up and he married my best friend. Still, I would never trade those years with him for anything, and by the way, I am happily remarried.

I think Heather really didn't know how important it was that Sir Paul had been a BEATLE!!!!! That's HUGE, it wasn't like she was marrying a Kiss band member or something...she underestimated his famous-ness, and her ambition was squelched by this (in her mind).

Oh believe me, she knew damn well how big the Beatles were and she knew how famous he was! Had she not, she never would've looked twice at Paul McCartney...money and fame have a way of making a man look very attractive to much younger women who marry men old enough to be their fathers.

Oh course she knew how big the Beatles were, she grew up in the UK ! They were always in the news, in one way or another, during the 70s and 80s. After the Beatles, McCartney had his other band "Wings" which had a fair number of hits, he got busted for pot possession in Japan, his brother wrote a tell-all book, etc, etc. The other three were just as active and then there's Lennons killing - and that rekindled a lot of Beatle stories & rememberances.

she's a lying, manipulative, dominating, gold-digging bitch. like a lot of women, including some that i like a lot. what ruins it for heather is her cancer of the personality. she's unlikeable to the extreme.

i don't care about the porn pictures but i would respect her a lot more if she just came forward and said, yeah, i way young and i needed the money, what's the big deal?

^^Yeah, I agree. She would sound a lot more credible, if she admitted she was broke and did the pix for the money, instead of spouting some crap about doing it for "educational purposes".
