He's SO reasonable! And he also told the staff how his divorce has hit him... not at all, pathetic. Not at all.

Damn, yet another celebrity I feel slightly sorry for. They're piling up!
Some of us are more reasonable when we're drunk. I know that I am, although I'm sober at the moment, and so I can't completely trust my judgement. Oh I'm confused. Maybe a drink would help.

It's sad about big Dave. My blog was one of the 1st to suggest that he was back on the bottle, back when he had his 'shaving accident'. No one ever did explain how you injure your hand by striking your head. I've made up enough such stories myself, to tell 'em when I hear 'em.

Hasselhoff's publicist told Sky News "He was not drunk. He went to see a doctor who gave him some medication."
Good grief....Yet another ridiculous *explanation*/*excuse* for a celebrity's embarrasingly bad drunken/drugged-out escapades. Add this one to the long list. (Discussed in the "Lindsey Lohan latest hospitalization" thread) Except this one lacks originality. "He was acting a fool because of doctor-prescribed medication."--...BOOOOORING--This one was pulled straight out of the "Ready-Made Excuses for Celebrities Manual: Pre-Fabricated Explanations of All Kinds Right at your Fingertips for ALL Variety of Snafus--Whenever You Need an Excuse for Acting a Fool or Needing to Explain Away a Mysterious Hospitalization" book. ....Personally, i've suddenly grown a bizarre appreciation for & grown rather fond of and kind of prefer the *I'm bleeding profusely from my orifices and am all cut up & bruised & have severed tendons & broken bones because a glass chandelier just happened to inexplicably plunge from the ceiling above me in my hotel room while i was just innocently standing under it doing nothing wrong, injuring me so bad i required ER medical attention* excuse. At least it's entertaining!

I had to comment on that freak incident on my blog as well (it's in German, though)... Well, they did say that the broken glass fell on his arm and cut the tendon... but they might just as well not have said anything at all. Why they didn't go for "he broke the chandelier and that scared him so much that he cut himself with the razor he was using" story I'll never understand, it would make so much more sense. I guess his PR people were just as drunk as he was.

I definitely like my drink, but I guess the occasional Cosmo doesn't make you an alcoholic. Once you've crossed that line (like The Hoff), you just get into more and more embarrassing situations... or so it seems.
