If I asked him to answer my phone as a joke, now that's a different story. IMO, Cruise is a controller and this is just another instance of him showing his obvious and consistent lack of manners.

oh my gosh, that sounds just like all the celebs during the presidential election, trying to get everyone to vote for who they wanted (pretty much the majority of hollyword was strongly anti-bush). they were abusing their celebrity power, or putting it to good use, however you wish to look at it. now that is what tom is doing for what he believes in.
