See?That irks me...
The fact that they HURRY to make kids...in-of all places- Hollywood...where 1 yeAR OF MARRIAGE IS LIKE 7 IN A NORMAL COUPLE'S LIVES.
And, knowing all this, they still hurry to make babies- all of them, not just Kate-- ...babies that will have adifferent father/mother figure in their lives.Or 2.. Or 3...
I call that iressponsibility and immaturity on the parents...if not DOWNRIGHT STUPIDITY !!
Ok,maybe the kid will do better than seeing parents quarreling...but, then, why not wait before bringing a new life??
\
Agreed on the other points you made.

At least they bothered with the legality of a marriage ...... unlike other couples who just ...........don't.

I wanted to double check before posting this, but they were also married for 4 years before Ryder was born. I think that's longer than even a lot of us "normal" people wait before having children after getting married.

Ah, then Ok-didn't know they were married for 4, I thought they were just married recently.
As for comment above Goose's--- why is better??I am not against marriage, lol, I am married...but in the HW world?? Where today they get toghether/marry and they divorce next????
I rather have marriage and NO separation ( if possible)because a divorce is STILL traumatic for resulting children....

Being trapped in a miserable marriage isn't good for children either.

Who said "better"? I never said that marriage is better, just commented that at least they bothered to TRY it. They were married, together for several years, had a baby, things didn't work, they are divorcing. They are no better and no worse than plenty of couples.

Yepp..this is OK by me.
I still cannot stop and feel sorry for Ryder and wish him a very nice childhood.(But you know that, in the case of a high-raise profile, there will be kids at kindergarten whose parents will talk about the separation.I just soo wish he wouldn't have to be exposed to some stick from other kids-I hope he doesn't).
Insofar as Kate and Chris are concerned- I am glad that (at least for now) they seem to be having a divorce "sans" big , publicised fights.
And I hope they will keep a good mother/father relationship with their baby boy.
Poor Britney will have, it seems, a much harder time.
