I was under the impression that the reason she took all those gigs in the STates was in order to pay off her debts, which the royals were not interested in doing.

That could well be true too, I know the queen bailed her out at one point coz her bank account was with Coutts. I think Lizzy gave her a certain amount, then after that it was just alimony, Busby the helicopter (or whatever his name was...) & her diet stuff.

I have to say tho' considering I don't like her, I'll admit that she's done ok for herself & the girls seem to be ok.... at least they were left alone by the press (but that time is running out isn't it? Moritorium till they're 18/21?)

That was juicy reading. Perhaps the question of Andrew's parentage has something to do with teh shoddy treatment of that branchof the family.

well Andrew is the only decent looking one of the bunch (by far the ugliest family on the planet ever!) so its not suprising he has a different parent(s)
