IcePik and Limey, I hate to break it to you both, but I'm right from his hometown in Nova Scotia. My sister went through elementary and later high school with him when he returned to NS from ON. I understand he's been resting here for awhile until the next part of the tour. He also just bought land here to build his own home.

No - he was born in Mississauga and then moved to Pictou County when he was 5 after his parents divorced. He left Pictou County shy of graduation (grade 11, I think) once he got work writing for a TV series in Toronto. His Mom and Grandma have lived in Pictou County since the initial move when he was young. They're both still here today.

People might not believe it, but he really is one of THE nicest guys you could ever meet. Very approachable and extremely grateful for this opportunity he's been given.
