Uh, I'd be pissed as hell if I found out after the media did. If it's true that her mother, or even brother, didn't call to tell her then that's f*ed up.

Actually, the mother's name is Carol Jean (Candy) Spelling. "Candy" is just a nickname.

Tori's name is actually Victoria.

So, they didn't actually start out sounding 'stripper-ish' ...lol

Seriously though, if your 83 year old father had a stroke, wouldn't you be there for him? Checking in on his yourself? Be by his side?

Maybe that's just me, my dad was 70, had a heart attack and my family was there with him the entire time afterwards and oddly enough, like Tori's father, mine passed away shortly after.

@kartizma, it was People that reported their reconciliation and all, but I don't recall that it mentioned any reconciliation with her mother.

you can't diss candy for responding to tori! they're a very public family and they're probably used to putting out statements. i thought candy's statement was very responsible! tori is a whore for doing a us weekly interview tho, imo.

Tori makes me sick. She hung out in Toronto for 5 days before going home. Your dad is 83 & had a stroke - how can you not think that is bad. She would be nothing without her father,she's not an actress. She's a spoiled rotten, rich girl. Even though the mom is probably a huge bitch, she just lost her husband and her daughter couldn't be bothered to say good bye to him. I think Tori hung herself with this one.
I like how the mom takes a dig at Tori while still trying to act motherly & sympathetic. Tori shouldn't mess with the woman who inspired characters from Dynasty.
