The label SHOULD be very worried! Like i said in a long-ass post in another thread, Shitney had the ultimate golden opportunity to have a major successful comeback....EVERYTHING was on her side just a few weeks ago....And instead, she's BLOWN IT so bad, i think her chances of a comeback exploded in a gigantic flash of earth-shattering proportions () the moment she started partying her ass off (well, partying her PANTS OFF, literally) with Paris Hilton every single night.....and those comeback chances dwindled & dwindled down to about NOTHING with every coochie flash, ass & tits hanging out displayed to the world, and night after night of chain-smoking & drinking in the company of a (as Shana Moakler said) "drug-obsessed clown" night after night after night. Bye-bye, golden opportunity for a major comeback! What a f*cking nitwit she is. I had a "friend"--a former co-worker who liked to think we were friends--who acted much like Britney here. She was the consummate party animal, obsessed with her looks, in her early 20's always going out clubbing, drinking, hooking up with guys, and always calling in because she was hungover. Until one of those hookups left her pregnant at 23.

She had something to focus on for 9 months (mainly because she couldn't go out drinking), and then not a month after she gave birth, she was out at the bars, looking for validation and fishing for compliments by telling everyone she'd just had a baby and how did she look? Once, I had a Christmas party when her baby was only a few months old and she *brought him to the party* while everyone, including her, drank themselves into oblivion. She busied herself flirting with guys. It's a good thing we had an extra bedroom upstairs he could sleep in quietly, but still totally reprehensible. Even after the kid was a year old she would bring the kid in to WORK with her because he was sick and/or she'd have no sitter lined up. Poor kid.

Anyway, Britney sounds a lot like a millionaire version of my "friend" here, and that's why I just can't even bring myself to pity her. Yeah she's dumb made bad decisions, but she keeps doing the same stupid stuff over and over and expecting people to bail her out or say it's ok or something. NO. I don't care how dumb you are, or how much bad luck you have, you are an ADULT who has every ability to pull yourself together and ACT LIKE AN ADULT, ESP. FOR THE SAKE OF YOUR CHILDREN. They are not accessories or dogs, to forget about and hand off to someone else when you get tired of them.
