Shrug. I can't stand Britney, but I don't see what the big deal is. Is it because the bra and panties don't match, or what? The coverage is the same as your average bikini. I've seen lots of people strip down to their underwear to sunbathe in public parks. It doesn't faze me.

If she was a wild and crazy teen it would be fine, but she's not. She's a grown woman with 2 little boys and is right in the middle of a custody battle. She needs to at least pretend to have some sense and some class.

I'd be embarassed as hell if that was my mama stripping down to her undies to play in the ocean!!

Well, I guess it's just a different cultural perspective. Where I've been living, many will take the bra off too, so as long as your crotch and nipples are covered, then you're pretty modest. It's not classy, but it's not rubber room behavior either.

the big deal i think is b/c she was on her way home from a lawyers meeting and then decides to drive all the way to the beach, strips, jumps in the water w/ all those photographers! its not a big deal if you were a normal 25 year old perhaps but w/ all eyes on you and 2 young sons at home and trying to clean up your disasterous image - it is a bit crazy.

You're right, but Twitney knows (or should anyway) that it's not acceptable to do that over here.

If it was an isolated incident it would be different, but with her it's something practically every single day!

In all honesty, I don't think she is mentally ill at all b/c most mentally ill people I've met are extremely intelligent.

I don't know if she is trying to clean up her image. I honestly think she cares more about getting attention than she cares about her image or custody of her boys. I don't think she is crazy, just extremely immature.
