I do not know one woman who is a mother that thinks she is possibly a good mum.
I would say that she's probably a kind mom but distant and doesn't even realize it. Many of us wake up some days while driving or doing some menial task and realize that we could have done something better with respect to our children... listen more, pay attention more, etc. (of course when they get older they could do that as well ) But you get my point... I don't think it's occurred to her just how much the lack of hands-on one-on-one time is going to affect her children, or her relationship with them in the near and distant future.

There are a lot of women who think they can be a single mom and a single woman, and keep the two separate. Same goes for married women. There's nothing wrong with taking time for yourself, and in fact, I totally advoate that for any mother...but she takes it too far.

But speaking from experience, that's usually a lesson you have to learn the hard way. I'm not sure it's something you can learn from hearing someone else say it or relate their story. She's going to have an issue come up that will wake her up to how selfish she's being and I for one hope, for the sake of her children, that it's not something bad and life-altering.

I know what you mean, but I hope it is "life-altering" in that it give her some insight into being the kind of mother that will help her boys; and that she then goes on to act upon that & be a successful & fulfilled mother (as she's already proved that she can be this in other areas of her life).

A lot of parents - both genders - cannot relate to babies and toddlers and are therefore distant and inept. Many of them go on to be good and attentive parents when the kids can talk, dress themselves, do schoolwork and play sports. Of course, that's right about the time they mostly want to be with their friends and don't want to spend quite as much time with mom and/or dad.

I saw that Novice, you'd think you were asking for a Social Security Number and an address!
No, it wasn't that, I just have a job that requires some work. I can't just post non-stop all day.

I'm with you, Texlux, I believe that something might be wrong with Jayden. As others have pointed out, Britney was over-eager to show off SPF on magazine covers, & was always carrying him for the paparazzi to see & take pictures of. Yet NOT ONE picture of Jayden in the, what, 8 months since he's been born??!! That's WAY LONGER than it took for Suri to finally be exposed! So, yeah, i think there's definitely a reason she's keeping Jayden under wraps (literally).

    Charmed Hour said:
Why? Other than Brit not having him on a mag cover, I don't think there's much evidence that something is wrong.
There was a Blind Item a while back which totally fit Britney, which said that a young celeb wasn't showing her new baby son to the media or out in public because something is wrong with him DUE TO THE MOTHER'S FAILURE TO STAY OFF DRUGS WHILE PREGNANT. (and i think it might have mentioned the specific drug was cocaine, but i'm not sure.) The Blind Item totally fit Britney.--There are no other new young celeb mothers who have kept their son hidden, and the timing totally fit--Everything fit. I've never forgotten that Blind Item.--I believe it to be true.
    My precious baby girl:

^ I agree. I think it's what caused her tailspin. And why is the media leaving it alone, unlike the Cruise case? Because it's very, very sad. And/or there's been a very large transfer of money or threats of headrolls. Britney is still big money - and potentially bigger money - until proven otherwise. Those people don't think like we do because they have facts we don't. Just because many here think she's over doesn't mean she's over.
