it made me think of Tom Cruise's spiel about Matt being "glib". Don't know why though....

Re: Brad: 'Fatherhood is sublime'
NewsWeek's list definitely seems like some huge PR move. Where is Bill Gates on the list, Oprah, Warren Buffet just gave away 40billion dollars approx yesterday and didn't make the list either.
As for Brad's mullings, does he think that he sounds pretty cool or smart by using the word 'sublime'? Excuse me while I gag....
I see that Angie finally threw him a bone!!!! Unfortunately with all their stupid PR moves, they are still haunted by their cheating ways and the way they got together. Their union will FOREVER be questioned, hate it or leave it!!![/quote]
Yup yup

While I do think there are others who deserve to be on that list, good for Brad and Angie for calling attention to children around the world. Also think it's great for them calling attention to the mess in New Orleans and helping there.

Exactly, I can think of a ton of words to use but that one just doesn't seem quite fitting.
I agree with those who mentioned Buffett and The Gateses. My first thought apon hearing BP was on the list was, did they actually put AJ on the list but she threw him a bone and told the list-makers it was all his doing? Glad to see I'm not alone.

Thanks, but I can't take credit for making up the name. My buddy Brandon helped me out.

I'm sincerely curious.
1) Who are "we"???
2) What should "we" be doing more of?

^^^My take is either Americans or those who can afford to do more, governments of any country. If you watched CNN Anderson Cooper's interview and the message on the refugees, and perhaps you did, I would think it meant helping the often ignored plight of refugees and the starving and orphaned children.

I AM glad to see that he mentioned the needy in America (not just some 3rd world far away who would kiss his ass). I still don't believe a word of it.

Well, they were noted on the last page of the article, under Philanthropy's All-Star Team, as "no-brainers," minus Warren Buffet.
