What do we know about it? We can just know that she doesn't issue press releases on the subject

A non-profit organization take advantage of one artist's name when they make a donation or work closely with them.
For example Ricky Martin, Britney Spears, David Bekham, Salma Hayek, etc. The organizations mention their names because they are famous and use their fame to have support from other parties, not only from them. It is better for the organization than keep it anonymously.
This is why the government from Namibia said Bad & Angelina donated the money. It is a way to invite other people to also colaborate.
I mentioned CZJones because I have never heard she is doing anything for others, along with her husband.

There was nothing in my statement that was racist. If you took it that way, you're simply looking for an argument. Angelina has made the comment that she wants a "rainbow" family. I was making fun of her, of course, but there was nothing racist about my comment.
What's wrong with her visiting Africa? Nothing. Good for her. If she raises awareness, all the better. But I agree with everyone else who thinks she's pulling needed resources from other places just so she can have her baby there. There are plenty of other places in the world where she could have chosen to have her baby without placing a burden on resources or the locals. I'm sure the Nambian moms who are living on $1 a day are just thrilled to pieces that their goverment is spending all their time and efforts on these two.

^^ Actually, that's not true at all. I think Angelina is interesting. I'm sure she has some badness in her past that would explain a lot of her behaviors. She's one of those people who, at times, is stunning, at other times is fug. She seems to be a decent mom (at least in those "candids"). I just think she's a manipulator of the press and, apparently, of African governments. She and Brad seem very mismatched as well. Someone asked on another thread if Brad would wake up in 10 years and wish he weren't still attached to her through a child. It's a great question and while I wouldn't wish that on any family, I can see it happening. I don't hate her at all but I suppose boards like this do force you to chose a team, don't they?
I'd also like to add that I've never called Angelina, "Mangelina" or any other "catty" name. Just setting the record straight. I'll leave those things up to you.

Brad and Angelina are not World Bank or the IMF, they are not obligated to donate money and when they do their efforts must be accredited. I do think the governor has more important things to do rather than issuing a statement after an statement, don't they have a country to run? Yes i hate when people brag about their humantarian and "good heart" but as far as i know it was not them who announced it, it was not them who annouced Brad's donation to Pakistan, it's the governments. If i was the governor sure i would advertise such thing as a way to say thank you. Angelina doesn't talk about her donations, only the ones through UNHCR are made public through their web-site but other than that she is quiet.
Anyway, regarding CZJ, she made it clear that her old hag pays her $1 million for every successful year of their marriage, also they were not shy to ask their wedding's invitees to donate money which will be saved in their son's (infant back then) charity bank account! Are you telling me such people will hide it if they donate money!?
I don't think when celebs donate they keep that as a secret, i remember how Leonardo Dicaprio was praised when he contributed to the save the widlide and environment of Thailand and when donated $1 million to Tsunami victims; Sandra Bullock donating $1m to Tsunami; Julia Roberts for donating $2 million to Sept 11 victims; Jennifer Aniston for donating $500 k to Katrina victims; Oprah for donating $10 m for Katrina victims as well as her endless donation to various causes. Credits are given where it's due and there is no shame to advocate for good causes instead of promoting your bizzare behaviour and corrupted morals which most Hollywood celebs are good for.

Seems to me that Angelina has quite a promotion for bizzare behaviour as well as corrupted morals. The only difference is that she also happens to give a little to charity as well.

^ Exactly that's my opinion about ALL of Hollwyood celebs but then at least she (among very few) are doing good deeds as well. Not only celebs, just look at Bush's daughters, while he enforces his religious values and opinions on others including waging wars, he has one drunk and another drug-addict who can't keep her cloths on her!!

This is such a selfish statement...they both work hard for their money...Why do you feel they should have given more...if they had only give $315 that is more than what the country had before...donations are just THAT...and they are always welcomed and appreciated by those who receive them....

No I'm sorry it wouldn't...why are they obligated to give millons because they have millions...so you make a couple thousand at work....so are you obligated to donated hundreds of dollars...you give what you can and what you want...just because celebs are millionares doens't mean they are obligated to give their money to the POOR!!! DAMN....so LIKE I SAID...if they had given $315 it was $315 more than they had before....nuff said
