I don't see how acknowledging that her charitable works have probably helped her public image means that it's the prime reason (or even a reason at all) for her doing them.

Believe me, she of all people would not bother with anything to the extent of the time she puts into such things if she didn't want to. When has she ever based what she wants to do around what others think is ideal? This "Oooh she finally admits the real reason" stuff does not compute.

I guess it just baffles people's minds that a *bad girl* who likes non-vanilla sex (because that's what this is really all about...well, at least that's what it was about before she ended up with the hubby of America's Sweetheart) can actually be someone who enjoys and wants to do charitable things when she's not tying men to the bed.

But even though her publicist promptly called Perez to clarify that the couple wasn't even there that night, it just goes to show how many power players read his blog and, more importantly, how concerned Team Reese is about keeping up appearances. And less than a week later, Ryan and Reese hit up the Malibu sand.

Therefore you objecting to Angelina in particular, having one magazine take a few pictures of their new child, donating that incredible amount of money to charity, when they would have been hounded by the media anyway to get that first picture, compared to all the other attention hos in Hollywood seems a bit, I dunno, bias?

Oh god, please do not turn this into an argument about mysoginy and people not being able to tolerate strong, sexual women. Angelina's no different than the girls who make out with other girls at parties because they're so "in control of their sexuality." It turns men on and she's desperate for attention, that's why Angelina goes on and on about her lesbian encounters and sexual fetishes. A woman who is genuinely in control of her sexuality does not need to parade it around in everyone's faces. Do men have to do that in order to be seen as controlling or enjoying their sexuality?
You people should worship a woman who actually deserves to be worshipped, like Shirin Ebadi or even Mother Teresa, instead of making Angelina into something she is obviously not. And about Reese, can you name her kids just off the top of your head, without thinking? You may be able to but most people wouldn't. The point isn't that Reese is somehow a better person, it's just that celebrity kids can have varying degrees of privacy even if total privacy is not possible. Now, Angelina had made Maddox a famous person in his own right way before Brangelina was coined and those two became the most famous couple on the planet.

Oh please, strong woman my behind. Angelina only has a facade of being strong, she is not strong in any way and if you ask me, I would say that she is very insecure. If she was so strong, why did she keep sayin "Oh please I don't need Brad" ( to appear strong), when they had been screwing each other long before that. I dunno...Even when she was younger and wilder I never saw her at all these celebrity nightclubs hanging out and publicly being a cocktease like Paris or Lindsey or Jessica Simpson. Interesting article - and nothing there that surprises me at all. I personally don't give a rat's ass how angelina likes her sex. She can fuck Pitt until his dick falls off - won't affect me at all. I don't care that she wound up with the former husband of "America's Sweetheart" - although I do find it strange that I never heard her referred to as such until she and Pitt split. Sit Angelina on a pedestal all you want, doesn't mean that I have to. There isn't anything that this woman could/can/should/would do that can affect me in the least. She's an interesting conversation topic on occaision, but that's about it. People find her an "interesting" character - why and how do they know? Because she puts it out there for the world to see. Good for her, when she feels like it, she's honest. Like anyone else, she's got good qualities and bad. How you feel about said qualities defines which side of the fence you're on with her. Myself, I don't really care for her. It has nothing to do with JA, BP, BBT... It just happens to be the way I feel. I choose to go with the non-vanilla myself on occasion, I give to charity, I have given birth - but I ain't perfect and make no mistake, neither is AJ.
