meh. what do you expect? they're actors, they have huge egos and need constant validation. and what's more validating for a narcissist than building up a huge love story in their head. definitely more exciting than marriage and real life.

When I hear these stories of actors leaving a spouse for a co star I often think of Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward. It was well known that they had an agreement that what happened on set stayed on set. They were willing to look the other way as long as the other person came home after filming concluded. Not a way I could live my life but it seems to work for some. Heck they have been married forever and I doubt either cheats anymore.

That's when my friend said she was completely fug and unrecognizable. When she was with Ellen, and they both had cropped 'dos and looked like twin sisters. She's tiny, has a small face, really mousy, tousled and washed-out, shrinking violet in person.

I actually read her book (guilty) and it was bananas. But an even better book about the Heches and Anne in particular is the one written by her sister, Susan Bergman called Anonymity. About their father who drove their family into the ground, hid is sexuality, eventually died of AIDS in 1983.
