I think we need to take a deep breath and wait until the coronial inquest in October. If a 20yr old suddenly drops down dead then the death is automatically treated as 'suspicious'. We shouldn't necessarily read anything sinister into it BUT in this case I think there's a whole can of worms about to be opened.

It is that last part that interests me..why not just mention the inquest..why say the part about the possible criminal charges unless there was a reason to do so?

There are so many conflicting reports, who knows what to believe? But I don't think it's shocking she would have memory loss at all. What is weird is that her bigmouth lawyer would choose to mention that, as if to remove any doubt that Anna Nicole was involved in Daniel's death. Nobody thinks she was the cause of the poor boy's death anyway. I feel very sorry for Anna Nicole, and I echo others when I say I don't know how she is going to survive this.

Oops. I did not see that the 'possible criminal charges' was already mentioned in another thread. Oh well. Anyway I can't believe they would mention that part, knowing the hornets nest of speculation that would ensue, without having some really good reason.

I give her totally the benefit of the doubt. She is going thru major physical and hormonal changes, has a brand new baby, loses her son who has been her rock all these years, she is a celebrity who knows that vultures in the press are going to do everything they can to exploit it to sell their papers, up to and including the famous enquirer dead body shots if they can get them. She is going to be whacked out for a long time over this, and I would think anybody in that situation would be. I would be probably near catatonic if I were in her shoes.

This is a perfect example of why celebs often don't get the full protection of the law. If this was a Joe Schmo bloke who died in unusual circs then nobody would give a rat's (apart from his family and friends) and the impartial process of law would hopefully prevail. Unfortunately, because of who he was, where he was, and with whom then the circumstances of his death are already being speculated and debated so people will probably have made up their minds what happened long before any inquest. Which kinda defeats the whole object. I have no idea why they have to wait until October to get this over with. The autopsy is done, the test results are in, the people involved are known - just do it. UNLESS there are criminal charges pending in which case the lawyers need time to prepare. Wait for the fireworks peeps.

I was talking to a friend about it and he thinks the lawyer did it. That she moved to t he Bahamas because she somehow wouldn't have to pay taxes on the millions she will get and that if that baby is his, it would be one less person who would have rights to it if something happened to Anna. He thinks the lawyer may have planned it all knowing that Anna may do herself in over this.
I really hope he is not right. To take advantage of someone like that. That's pure evil. I feel so bad for Anna. I know I have said a few things in the past about her being greedy and all but she didn't deserve this.

An LA photographer is apparently the father of the baby, not the lawyer. I assumed it was him as well but checked and some pap from LA who had a fling with her was suing for rights. I say the butler did it.

Maybe he's the 'father' like ThetinTomThumb is the 'father' of KrazyKatie's baby.

Tranks can also cause it. First time I was given valium I returned to work DAYS LATER and didn't remember where the water fountain was. I was so freaked out!

From what I understand she has not inherited anything except the small amount her husband wanted her to have. Her victory at the Supreme Court level was just to have a previous decision over turned and kicked back to a lower court for a review and ruling. Even that ruling does not give her any more money - it was about how the decisions could be made. It is my understanding that her husbands family is continuing the fight to keep her from getting anything else since her husband left her nothing else in the will.
I do feel very bad for her. I wonder if the son had a drug problem and they atty gave him some stuff that caused an over dose. I hope she finds a way to bond with this new baby in spite of what she is dealing with right now. Hannah needs her.
