Yeah, and is it just a weird coincidence that she made a will in July of 2001? And it excluded any other children. I wanna know why none of the blogsites are on this story? Surely TMZ can dig up the birth certificate and other info.

"Since E! was to begin filming in late 2001 or early 2002, Smith had no time to be a mother. She granted Soto custody of the boy, with Smith agreeing to deposit $10,000 a month in Soto's Wells Fargo account for care and upkeep of the child."
He's been paid 120,000/anum for 5/6 years & he still couldn't afford to go to Barbados?
He's not been investing in HKS's schemes has he?

I was wondering about this too.
It talks about his "modest" home and all-- you'd think with that kind of money he would have a really nice place!
Of course there's the (probably slim) chance he puts most of it in the bank for little Marshall.
If it said so in the article, I missed it.
I think it's sad that he let his 5 year old watch his mommy's funeral like that.

I guess he can come up with a fake birth certificate, but no pictures of his kid with ANS? Riiiight.
I read on the main source comments that the birth certificate has the mother listed as Anna Nicole Smith, not even her legal name and no signature. I guess the person who thought up this hoax didn't know her real legal name?

This is such an insane story but ANS lived an insane life, so I don't know what to think.

"The last time she called in January, she didn't sound right," Soto recalls. "I knew she was again back on the drugs. Her speech was slurred, and she was saying crazy stuff about how there were rats under her bed trying to eat her feet, and that the Mafia was out to kill her for her money. Before I heard the news, I got a letter in the mail from her, written in lipstick, with a photo of her shaving Howard K. Stern's butt. I thought maybe she needed to be institutionalized. Obviously, the birth of Dannielynn and Daniel's overdose — it was just too much for her."

omg this article made me laugh so many times! that poor kid is being used and thats sad btw; the pictures that accompany the article are so damn funny though the guy holding some jack daniels wrapped in a blanket and his dad drinking pine sol to get drunk; thats hardcore man!

Then she drops off the scene for almost a year and comes back in 2002, bigger than ever and filming her reality show. I think this is true. I can't wait to see how it all pans out!

I don't know why they are indicating that it's unusual. I've seen it a number of times. It's a safeguard that keeps wackos from claiming to be the illegitimate heirs of the deceased.

But surely he wouldn't then worry about spending some of their savings??
I see your point about where they live, but what they do have looks well cared for. Maybe it's really nice from his experience or maybe he didn't want anything fancy...?
(or maybe he's a lying crock of shit - I don't know...)
And letting the kid watch the funeral....

Yes, but it seems to make a lot more sense for a man than for a woman.
For her to not include a child she gives birth too just seems so odd IMO.

But that's because HKS has destroyed her later will - the one they've published was date 199? wasn't it...
(I'm making it up about HKS destroying her later will, but it wouldn't surprise me!)

Some people on the website are claiming this is all a big joke and meant to sling racial slurs against Indians.
Too funny though since the kids second grade teacher and Johnny's BMF are chiming in.

Yeah, their place does look nice, but it seems like most of the time when someone who's broke gets hit w/ a buncha money they usually blow it really fast. They buy a big house, several fancy cars, luxurious vacations, etc.
I don't know what to think! Supposedly it's a legit newspaper, but that writing is just so damn silly! The birth certificate picture is the only one that won't come up. Something is so very *off*, but as the others have said, anything's possible w/ ANS.
If it is true, I hope the little boy gets his fair share.

OMG. Half of me thinks this is so ridiculous that there is no way to be true, and half of me thinks this is so ridiculous it MUST be true.
