I think it comes down to morality (i.e. intentions) cuz adoption involves children/human beings.
I know I won't be too happy if Michael Jackson adopted Japanese kids...(but that's a whole another discussion...)

Um, how can you be a genuinely good mother if you pick your kids based on ethnicity or nationality? Like Barbara said, it's basically eugenics for adoption. Joan Crawford seemed like a great mom too...

Because not everyone is willing to give a home to someone who's racially/ethnically different from them. It's called tolerance in my book.
now i have a question, after the parents die, do these kids inherit their millions just like the biological kids or not ?

Adopted children can inherit the same as biological children- it all depends on the parents' will.
I have 4 children now (from 3 months to 11 1/2 years) and would love to adopt someday, and even from a different culture/race. Right now, I don't have the time or space for another child and don't have the money to do it, either. I might not have the energy when the kids are older, so who knows if I will ever go through with it.
To me, it sounds a bit compulsive and unhealthy, though. 1- I don't like the thought of her picking out ice cream flavors of kids. Even if she didn't mean it like that, it sounds wrong. 2- She needs to let the kids get a bit older. I didn't think it was a bad spacing between Maddox and Zahara...but let these kids be babies for awhile and give them the love they need for awhile before adding to the family. Now, from what I can tell, she hasn't said she is going to do this tomorrow, so maybe she will wait a bit to do this.
I always liked Angelina, precisely because she is kinda batshitcrazy, so I'm not hating (although she dropped in my esteem with the homewrecking, so I am most definitely not a worshipper), but the fact remains that she might not be 100% mentally healthy and this compulsion could be an updated manifestation of the blood around the neck, self-mutilation, brother humping issues.

OMG! Exactly what I was thinking. I figured I'd get crushed for it though. It's a good example. She was in the limelight and adopted to further the public's opinion of her. While I don't think Angie's motives are entirely selfish, part of me does wonder if they aren't cool accessories to help with her PR game. Shrugs.

"We don't know which -- which country. But we're looking at different countries. And we're -- I'm just-- it's gonna be the balance of what would be the best for Mad and for Z right now. It's, you know, another boy, another girl, which country, which race would fit best with the kids," she said, referring to her adopted children.

Anybody notice this part of the article. Why does she go from 'we' to 'I'?????? It seems like Brad is yet to be clued in on the plans of mommy dearest his master.
Also why does she keep saying, "My daughter is African". Why does she keep putting them in their places with these labels, and shouldn't she be saying "our" daughter is from Africa, yeah I know that Braddy hasn't adopted them yet, but does anyone see a foreshadowing of things to come??? What if Zahara is no longer African?!?! I can totally see her telling them "Look, you would have dies if I had not saved you, I saved you, got it!!!!"
And great conversations folks, of course except for the jealous bit, that is the most ridiculous thing I've read in while, like "Yeah, I am so jealous of Angie, her lapdog and rainbow children". Heck No, like Barb said, I could use her money but that's about it. When I'm ready to have kids, I don't think I'd be having them out of wedlock, it's just the traiditionalist in me, and my respect for my parents who would kill me if it happened the other way around....(of course not literarilly)

I noticed it too. But come on, do you really think she's in this for the long haul with Brad? I just don't see it happening. If it does work out, God Bless them.

Yeah, I come from a very traditional family, engagement parties, big weddings, big reunions, big family and friends, huge gifts and the works. Family friends all around for the wedding, that sorta thing. Even if you somehow got knocked up, you better keep it hidden, rush to the wedding and pop that baby out afterwards. That's the way it's always been, and somehow, I actually like it that way, not sure that I'd want it any other way. It's funny though, that my parents have been together for more than 20 years and are continously waxing stronger, I wish it'd be that way for me also......
How u doing today Kari???

I don't know if they can make it or not as a couple since this is Hollywood after all, i am sure though as parents they will. However, it would be fun to see them together for the long haul since many predicted their break-up the first day they hooked up and now they have a beautiful daughter. But yeah nobody knows what the future holds for them or anyone for that matter except for God.
