LMAO
Sometimes when I am reading this board,..I have the most belly aching laughs.
I don't post often,..but when I do its because i've been profoundly affected in some way,.... and the "shiloh becoming shitload " comment just made juice spew out my nose, ..I laughed soo hard.
This is a throwback to when Britney was pregnant with her first child,.and people were coming up with names and someone said "Cle-toris Federline". would be a good name. I almost had a heart attack from laughing.
Its funny the things that can make your day,..
Thank you lalala.

According to 'babynamesworld.com' Shiloh means 'Peaceful' and it's originally a Hebrew name. However, appearantly 'Shiloh' also means 'Morning Star' in Iroquois (Native American).

The Battle of Shiloh, also known as the Battle of Pittsburg Landing, was a major battle in the Western Theater of the American Civil War, fought on April 6 and April 7, 1862, in southwestern Tennessee.
Shiloh industries is also a manufacturer of engineered metal products.

The boy's and girl's name Shiloh is pronounced SHYE-loh. It is of Hebrew origin, and its meaning is "His gift." Also possibly "he who was sent." Biblical: a prophetic name for the Messiah. So as Nouvelle means new i can only assume that new messiah is the names meaning. (Tongue firmly in cheek.)

First thing I though of was the battle of Shiloh fought amongst those peach trees and the blossoms fallin down over the dead bodies
*this child is named after one of the most bloody battles in the US Civil War..the name 'Shiloh' has serious male undertones cause of this...meaning the kid is sure to grow up and be a lesbian!!!!! .hahahahaha..just joking.*

I am not a fan of the name "Shiloh." I think it's another pretentious celebrity baby name that stupid celebrity parents give their kid because they think it sounds deep. But then again, so is "Zahara."

Gator, I am beginning to think some alien pod person had invaded your body...you sure have seemed mean lately...sorry, you just sound 'not yourself'...I understand if for whatever reason you dislike AJ and/or BP, but the birth of any child is a joyful occasion. It's not the babies fault someone doesn't care for the parents. I just don't see how you can call the birth of an innocent child a travesty....

E! is reporting that her name is actually Pitt-Jolie rather than Jolie-Pitt. Was that an error on their part? Has anyone else heard that?

When I was little our next door neighbors had a big black dog named Shiloh.
I can't hear the name Shiloh without thinking of that dog.
Yeck!

Shiloh is an okay name...I actually like Zahara's name more, but overall Shiloh isn't that bad. I was surprised that my boyfriend really liked it. When we heard the name on t.v., he said "Hey, that's a name I like. I like Shiloh". That surprised me because he doesn't usually comment on names.
I would've liked baby Shiloh's middle name had they spelled Nouvel more feminine...Nouvelle.
