Really, it's crazy to notice that a UN goodwill ambassador is throwing a military themed party? Yes yes pwecious wants one, but I would probably be one of those mean people who says no for various reasons, least of all, I had travelled to various war torn countries and taken notice that it isn't exactly fun and games and would try to impress that on my kids, instead of them getting what they want.

I think if this were anyone else other than Jolie, there'd be a lot more people on the bandwagon raising an eyebrow.

Oh and for the record, I don't really care for Jolie or Anniston, but I will call out stupid behaviour and get all the more points if someone is particularly sanctimonious.

The UN has deployed many peacekeeping force throughout the world. The UNHCR campaigns for refugees. Angelina campaigns for refugees, which is not the same as campaigning against wars. Sometimes, in order to save refugees, you have to use force. That’s why there are peace keeping forces made up of the military - army and navy, deployed in some of the worlds dangerous places to protect refugees.

Angelina has said she is for sending troops into Darfur - without the approval of the Sudanese governments if need be , to help those refugees.

Don't hate the people who fight in wars, hate the people who send troops to unnecessary wars or the ones who will only stop killing innocents when they are forced to do so.
