The stunning singer has signed to Ford Models agency and says she's ditching her grunge image.
She said: "I'm starting to feel more feminine. I'm getting into hair and make-up and image. That's the best part of being a girl."

And Avril thinks she'd be a great model.
She said: "I look through magazines and stare at ads and think, 'I'm not six feet tall, but I know I can do that'. I want to do those really beautiful ads with the high-end products."

Meanwhile, Avril has signed up to make her acting debut in a screen adaptation of Eric Schlosser's bestselling expose 'FastFood Nation'.
The Canadian pop star will share the screen with Patricia Arquette, Ethan Hawke, and Lindsay Lohan's ex, Wilmer Valderrama, among others.
The movie, based on the book which exposed secrets of the fast food industry, will be released later this year.

I can't believe this, has she never heard of staying true to who you are?? I guess she just acts and dresses however she feels she fit in and make the most money.

I think Avril's pretty... she has gorgeous eyes, nice hair, nice skin, a slender figure. I think she'd make a decent print model. Kate Moss kinda ended the "models must be tall" thing, and I think height only really matters for runway anyhow.

Don't get me wrong, she's still an idiot. But I think she's pretty.

I think she's pretty, but I also think it's a shame she's given a shot at modeling because she's famous, while other pretty but similarly short girls are not given the time of the day.

and she's like 4 foot something..i've met her and she barely came up to my chest and i'm 5'7

Plenty of models look like shit without makeup... she'll do fine.
