Picking his teeth with the heel of a Jimmy Choo shoe that happened to be
Renee's size, the 44-year-old struggled to pile on the required 15.5 kilograms (34 pounds) for his role as middle-aged CIA agent BOB BARNES, and was forced to consume Zellweger, who just
happened to be sitting at a nearby table pecking at a salad.

He says, "She didn't even know what hit her. One minute she's trying to
spear one of them little tomaters with a fork, the next -- CHOMP!
She's missing both legs.

"Her friends ran from the restaurant screaming, but Renee is so petite
that she was easy to finish off in three more gulps," he remarked,
belching conspicuously. "And I got the part. Hallelujah!"

Clooney and Zellweger were romantically linked in 2001. "I sure will miss her,"
he added wistfully, while rummaging through her purse for change.
