Trent Reznor joins PETA in anti-cruelty campaign

NINE INCH NAILS frontman TRENT REZNOR is spearheading a new People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) anti-cruelty campaign after witnessing a horrific video taken in China.

The film, obtained by PETA bosses, show dogs and cats being brutally killed and skinned for their fur.

Reznor will introduce the disturbing footage, which is set to air on the animal activists' website, urging Americans to boycott all fur products.

The horrific video shows cats and dogs, which are routinely rounded up in Beijing and other cities, as they are hauled to their deaths on trucks containing as many as 8,000 live, dead, and dying animals.

In his narration, Reznor says, "Every year, millions of cats and dogs are killed for their fur. The animals' weakened bodies are bludgeoned, hanged, bled, or strangled with wire nooses to kill them."
