Someone should remind Samuel that the right-wingers are the ones saying "Shut up and Sing". Anybody, famous or not has the right to voice their opinion. THe more public it is the better at least IMO.

What's wrong with an outspoken black man, yellow man, white man, red man, whatever? Call me naive, but I've never understood how race plays into all of this and I mean that in the most respectful way. How does the color of one's skin determine if they're worthy of an opinion? Someone please explain to me the logic in this.

I have to admit that I find American politics a lot more interesting than our Canadian politics. At least you guys have a bit of scandal to override the dullness that is politics. Up here, it's a snoozefest.
