The BABYSHAMBLES singer and ex-boyfriend of supermodel KATE MOSS, was stopped by police in east London at 5.40 (GMT) this morning (26JAN06) after they became concerned about his erratic driving.
He is still being held at a police station in East London.
A Metropolitan Police statement reads, "Officers stopped a vehicle in Laburnum Street, E2, due to the erratic manner in which in was being driven. Substances were recovered from the driver, a 26-year-old male, who was arrested for alleged possession of Class A drugs. He was taken to an east London police station where he remains in custody."
Doherty was arrested in almost identical circumstances on similar charges on 4 December (05) and 14 January (06).
The singer's lawyer this week accused the police of unfairly treating Doherty because of his fame.
Sean Curran told a London court, where Doherty was charged with possession of heroin, crack cocaine, marijuana and morphine - stemming from his 4 December arrest - "The position is this, the police kept him in custody because he is Pete Doherty."
The star missed a performance in Leeds, northern England last night (25JAN06). Babyshambles are due to continue their UK tour in Newcastle tonight (26JAN06).

He's a stupid shit and needs to be put on death watch 2006. Any druggie worth their weight knows you don't mix your uppers with your downers. And if he ever adds cough meds to that combo, he is dead even faster.

I swear I have heard that weed is not technically a downer from the big pothead I know (even though I always thought it was.) (Ok, I just found something that said it can be either an upper or downer depending on potency. Hmmmm...)

it's mainly two downers that need to be avoided, (special k + alcohol, weed + alcohol) they make you puke like crazy.
