Jamie Foxx plans new 'rock star resurrection' reality show

The singer/actor is currently in talks with several US TV networks over the idea, which he hopes will come into fruition later this year (06).

He tells the New York Daily News, "It's kind of like a reality show. It's rebuild the rock star. We take a person, who we all know, who may have fallen off his or her game. We rebuild them back up and show them perform their hits."

Isn't this already a show on VH1? Taylor Dayne and Vanilla Ice were on it. "Remaking" i think was the name?

And how is he going to accomplish this? If they didn't have IT when they were 'rock stars' how is Mr. Foxx going to give it to them...there had to be a reason that they aren't still around. No talent would be my first guess...I'm curious who he has in mind and what he thinks will resurrect them...
