Supermodel TYRA BANKS has scored such a hit with her US talk show, it has been picked up for a second season.

Banks, who retired from the catwalk to concentrate on her TV career last year (05), has been a hit in syndication among Fox Television affiliates.

Her self-titled show debuted to impressive ratings last September (05) and ended the year pulling in even more viewers.

I can understand that, I can certainly see her as being a brutal bitch, I do find her entertaining but I am very unsure if I truly like her as person or an entertainer, sometimes she seems so phony on her show and it is quite obvious she wants to be the next Oprah.

Is it really a hit? I don't know anyone personally who watches it. I've tried a couple of times.

I watch it when I am doing cardio at the gym, it really catches my interest in a Ricki Lake or Jenny JOnes kind of way.
