Get ready for another round of J. Lo baby rumors.

A source says that Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony have been doing “tons of shopping” for baby clothes lately.

“He was at Fred Segal [on Melrose Ave. in Los Angeles] last week and bought a Guys Infant Gear diaper bag for $120,” says a source. “He said something that made it pretty clear that it wasn’t a gift — that he intended to use it — but I don’t want to repeat it or he’ll know who talked to you.”

The source says that the couple has been buying other pricey baby gear as well. Lopez was widely rumored to be pregnant last year; her rep couldn’t be reached for comment.

i really need to have jlo talk to my sister in law.

see, my sis in law thought that she wanted a baby soooo badly, especially since every doctor on the planet told her that with her medical history, it would be impossible. miracles occurred, and she had twins. you'd think that would make her the happiest girl in the world, right?

nope. she is too self-centered to be a mother. she wanted kids like some people want a bigger house or a new purse. when she got em, she promptly tried as hard as she could to forget she had em. she's still trying to this day, and they are four years old. i think this happens to a large number of celebrities, too. the whole glamor thing doesn't exactly allow for parenthood, let alone *good* parenthood.

i'm not in a position to judge whether or not jlo's intentions are pure, but who buys baby clothes before they are even pregnant? wasn't there a similar story out months ago? chances are she'll have a kid, be photographed like mad with the kid, and then we will never see the kid again until it's a teenager.

breaking news to celebrity rich people: kids are a responsibility. it's really really hard to be a parent. course, i don't have a legion of nannies, so...

edit: sorry if this makes no sense; i had my tonsils out on thursday, and i am in a lot of pain. the tylenol with codeine makes me very slooooow and sleepy, but does nothing for the pain! wtf? and i haven't eaten in 5 days. if your doctor recommends a tonsillectomy, RUN AWAY.

I totally agree with what you are saying. And your post did make sense! These celebrities that are out buying baby clothes before they are even pregnant, it is pretty ridiculous and does fit into the notion that the celebrity might just see the baby as another "accessory". JLo does seem too self-absorbed to be a devoted, attentive mother; but who knows.

Oh and that sux about your tonsils! I had mine out 3 years ago (i'm 29 now) and having them out as an adult is extremely PAINFUL! However my doc gave me Roxicet (liquid Percocet--POTENT STUFF!!) for the pain and that's the only thing that helped. I would ask him for something stronger! Hang in there!

My oldest sister was the same way. She and my BIL tried for two yrs infetro and when she got preg with her first child, a boy, it was perfect but then she wanted a girl. Ok so they tried again and on the second try it worked, she did get her girl and that was all she wanted but three yrs after my niece was born SURPRISE

she got preg a third time. Total shock to everyone they werent trying. Now all she does is complain she has no time for herself. OH please you wanted kids and now you act like they are sucking the life out of you. She makes me sooo mad and I feel bad for her kids. And they are good kids.
