Tom Cruise gives Katie Holmes £75,000 worth of designer gowns

Holmes is due to give birth to their first baby together next month.

I did not get very big during my pregnancy. I was 102 lbs when I got pregnant and gained 30 lbs. People thought I was just "chubby" more than 9 months pregnant. I wore regular jeans under my tummy like she does, they were just 8 sizes bigger than my normal size. I can honestly say in one of those pics she looks about the size I was at eight months.

^^ I think it's more that her stomach mysteriously changes from photo to photo ... one day she's as big as a house, the next day there is hardly anything there. It has to be the weirdest pregnancy ever.

Sooo... Clambo is giving her six expensive designer maternity dresses when she's supposedly 8 months pregnant? I know he's ridiculously wealthy, but will she even get to wear them all? A normal pregnant woman would have preferred (even demanded) some nice maternity clothes (including "everyday" outfits) months ago. It seems to be "feast or famine" with her and clothes: we see her in either evening wear or Goodwill remnants... nothing in between!
I don't know anything about her pre-clam clothing choices, but I always have the feeling that the outrageously dowdy clothes we see her wearing now are some part of her $cientology training, like discipline gear or humiliation/anonymity apparel. I assume she was a regular midwestern girlie in her earlier years. I grew up a bit south of Toledo and, like most other places, it's full of giggling gaggles of teens roaming the malls, determined to look exactly like each other. Catholic school girls aren't much different, except they just can't wear most of their fads to school.
Everything about today's Kat(i)e, inside and out, is just baffling and scary.

Weird.

I must say thought that maybe her stomach looks smaller because the rest of her body grew larger (fatter) and the slender body/baby bump contrast has slimmed greatly.

Now she just looks like she gained 40lbs.

I seriously doubt that Katie really likes Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci or Versace. They're tom's favorite designers. I remember an interview that Tom & Nicole did, and they were commenting on her dress, and she said that Tom picked it out, that he picked out all of her outfits. I'm telling you he is a control FREAK

The poor designers must have had hyperventilating hysterics at the idea of having to make something bigger than a size 00 to begin with. Pregnant or not, Katie HAS put on weight which proves she is still (just) a human being although once the Scientologists have finished with her I'm not sure what she'd be classified as. Most women I know who still looked 'unpregnant' at 8 months were TINY to begin with and didn't put on much overall weight at all or they had enormous bumps but were still skinny elsewhere. The women who put on as much weight at Katie (including me) were HUGE at 8 months. Xenu certainly does work in mysterious ways.
