Movie veteran JOHN VOIGHT insists his heartache over being excluded from his daughter ANGELINA JOLIE's life has doubled now she is pregnant with BRAD PITT's child.


The DELIVERANCE star is desperate to contact Jolie and be an active grandfather in the near future.


But, as far as the strong-willed brunette is concerned, the animosity between them continues. He says, "I'm always trying to reach her and send her my love but I still haven't spoken to her.


"I wish somebody would help me and give her a call.


"Now she has announced she is pregnant with Brad's child, I would love to be included in this exciting moment."

Think about it..maybe because of her relationship with her father (and we fans/readers/the public don't even know the whole story), she has been reaching out for attention from different men. I mean, so far we have learned that her father abandoned her, called her crazy, tried to get into her life..so on and so forth..it could explain why she wants so much attention from men.

Then again..we dont know the whole story.

But as for his begging her to call, I think she should do it. Shes gonna be a mother (again), if she wont do it for herself, she should do it for her kids. they should have a big family.

I think she knows if he's good or bad to have in her life... she tried, gave him a chance, and he blew it.

When he was whining to Diane Sawyer or whoever, he was trying to get Angelina stopped from traveling to Sierra Leone because he thought it was too dangerous. He never tried to have her blocked from adopting, as far as I know, and I thought they had their blowout before she adopted, but I could be mistaken. And then he spilled the news to the world when she was trying to keep it quiet, I think on purpose to spite her.

He uses her to keep his name out there. He wasn't around her whole life, and then he pops up when she's starting to get famous. He's name dropping. If he really wanted to talk to her, he could do it privately.

i have a similar relationship with my father and i'm having doubts as to whether i'd stay in contact with him.

If she doesn't want contact with him that's her own decision but I do think that it's crossing the line to deny her children a relationship with their grandfather UNLESS she was abused/molested by him, which i very seriously doubt. I think she's just embarrassed and pissed off that he admitted in an interview that he was concerned about her because of her sick and abnormal behavior (making out with her brother, wearing blood necklaces, etc.), which at the time that he made those statements WAS very disturbing. I don't really think he crossed the line by acknowledging that he realized that.

IMO...Jon Voight is an ass.

That may be what was behind all his words awhile back about her being crazy. He did do something. At the very least, he left her and was a shitty, barely there dad. Once she became really famous people started looking at him and what was the deal with their relationship (or lack of).

My theory (if I were Jon Voight): Better to paint her as *crazy* on the front end...it wouldn't have been that hard to believe either, given her public penchant for shock value at the time, then people would be more skeptical about whatever did come out about him. Even if I'm wrong about that, he's still pretty pathetic.

I'm no doctor, but I'll go out on a limb and say that people who self mutilate, have blood fetishes, and are into masochistic sex have been through some severe abuse. I doubt her father is directly to blame, but his abandonment left her vulnerable I'm sure.
