American actress SANAA LATHAN has hit out at rumours she had an affair with DENZEL WASHINGTON after they co-starred in the movie OUT OF TIME.
The pair play onscreen lovers in the 2003 film, but Lathan is angered by claims their relationship is threatening Washington's 22-year marriage to wife PAULETTE.
She tells the New York Daily News, "It got started because in the movie, I had a love scene with Denzel.
"People took that and translated it into real life. They said I was pregnant with Denzel's child, and people were calling my mother, saying I'm having his baby. It's frustrating."
Washington's representative has also shot down claims the Washingtons are on the verge of a split, telling the Daily News, "Their marriage is just fine."

I think he's rather well known for quietly cheating. I seem to remember her threatening to leave him a few years back and he more or less has admitted that his behavior has been less than perfect during their marriage.
