Lindsay Lohan & Sean Lennon paint the town red

Lindsay Lohan and Sean Lennon painted the town strawberry on Thursday night. While Lohan, 19, has lately been linked with Jared Leto, Lennon, 30, has made no secret that he's looking for a girlfriend.

The friends started their evening at the Mercer Hotel, before hitting Amy Sacco's Chelsea restaurant, Bette, for dinner. Lohan's mother, Dina, was spotted with them later at Bungalow 8.


"Lindsay was smoking and partying up a storm, with her mother next to her in the banquette," says a Bungalow beagle.


"Sean was wearing these funny, thick green glasses like they make you put on to enter the Emerald City."


Lohan will co-star in "Chapter 27," an upcoming film about the murder of John Lennon, in which Leto plays killer Mark Chapman.

No he and Bijou broke up ages ago and then he started dating Liz Jagger. I guess Lindsay is going to start partying with Mom so she can keep an eye on her. But what gets me is that she is hitting nightclubs and the legal drinking age is 21, and she's 19. Some of these places need to get shut down.

Eh, I hit the clubs when I was underage...no biggie. In fact, I celebrated my 21st bday at one of the clubs I frequented, erm, frequently. The owner was slightly peeved that I had been coming in for several years but at the end of the day, bought me champ....what a guy.

Thanks for clarifying about Bijou. With regard to Lindsay's drinking, I remember being part of the whole party circuit when I was young, but I really don't recall being out every freakin' night of the week. It's no wonder this girl finds herself dealing with health problems around every corner. No one can maintain the pace she does and not crash and burn. And we wonder why Hollywood is so messed up!
