Scarlett Johansson's fishy New Year

SCARLETT JOHANSSON has been turned off sushi after a fishy New Year's Eve celebration turned into a dining disaster.

The LOST IN TRANSLATION star decided to treat a group of close friends to a night out at a local New York sushi bar - to ring in the New Year - but the night turned into a big disaster.

She explains, "I went out and I got sushi because I thought it would be kind of glamorous and we went to this very glam sushi restaurant but... the first thing that came out was a raw lobster in a martini glass.

"It was awful and, by the fifth course, we didn't want (any more). We said, 'Please stop, no more,' and from then on the night just went south."
