Australian dance star DANNII MINOGUE is returning to her acting roots after signing to star in forthcoming Antipodean movie EXCEPT EAST RICHMOND.
The I BEGIN TO WONDER hitmaker, 34, leapt to fame in her homeland in 1978 in Aussie drama SKYWAYS and went on to star in popular soap opera HOME AND AWAY in the late 1980s. Her her big screen debut was in 1992 movie SECRETS.
Except East Richmond screenwriter MICHAEL SCHIAVELLO enthuses, "We have had a couple of really great meetings with Dannii.
"She is really keen on the script and has been putting forward lots of ideas. She is incredibly supportive and has been from day one."
